Drobo to Synology: Libraries missing

Server Version#: 1.25.3.5409-f11334058 (on both)
Player Version#: 7.27

I’m migrating from a Drobo 5N to Synology DS920+ and the Synology shows no libraries when I start it up and claim it with my PlexPass account.

Following the Move install doc (Move an Install to Another System | Plex Support), I copied over the Preferences.xml file along with the Metadata and Media directories and then changed owner and group to PlexMediaServer on all those. Everything appears to have 777 permissions.

Drobo source directory: /Shares/DroboApps/plex/Library/Plex Media Server
Synology destination directory (DSM7): /volume1/PlexMediaServer/AppData/Plex Media Server

I changed the max up bandwidth 400 Mbit/s recently and Synology has that setting so I know some settings migrated.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

May have messed this up by syncing Drobo’s Metadata directory to Synology Metadata AND Media. Trying again…

You might want to check out this extended guide.

Tried that and still didn’t have my libraries (despite correctly copying both Media and Metadata directories).

Removed Plex DSM7 again, deleted the PlexMediaServer shared folder (and all it’s contents) and then tried the install again. It took at least 5 minutes as opposed to the 20 seconds of previous attempts. Once complete, all libraries were available after I added their new paths as described in the Move to Another System doc. Thanks for your assist!
