DS1010+ support discontinued?

Hey,

So there is the post about installation changes on Synology (Synology installation changes for Plex Media Server). And as far as I can tell it states only two Synology models with 32bit Intel CPUs are supported (DS415play and DS214play).

But the download page claim x10 series are still supported.

The download I get from from PMS update notification does not seem to work though.

So x10 models are no longer supported and the download page it wrong then?

@Tiran_Kenja

I am out of the office today (currently mobile).
I will be back in the office tomorrow and hopefully resolve everything.

What version of DSM are you using? DSM 5 or DSM 6?

@Tiran_Kenja

You can’t upgrade to the current PMS version because of a miscommunication regarding DSM 6.2 Update 2 dropping support for 32 bit packages on 64 bit CPUs. (we received no advance notice of Synology dropping support)

In the scramble to get PMS running for everyone, the x10 series slipped through our (largely my) logic.

Because we’re already in the release process for the next update to PMS, it was decided to include the correction there (PMS 1.13.5) rather than manually roll back and risk breaking something.

I’m now updating all our documentation to reflect what happened and the actions taken.

If you can please wait a few days until you upgrade, that would be greatly appreciated. If you need the 1.13.3 package, I can arrange to get you the download link for it

No problem. There is no immediate issue that requires me to update. I just noticed the issue when I randomly checked the Plex web UI.

Not sure if the question is still relevant. But the x10 series never got DSM 6. So it’s on DSM 5

@Tiran_Kenja

I’ll be sending you a PM soon.

In that PM will be a Download Link to my Google Drive.

It is the version of PMS with :crossed_fingers: support for the DS1010+ properly restored . We don’t have any so cannot test ourselves.

If you would test it (see if it updates correctly) then let me know, I would be very appreciative.
