PMS 1.13.4.5271 on Synology DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 2

I just tried to upgrade PMS from 1.13.4.5251 to 1.13.4.5271 on my Synology running DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 2 and it errors out when trying to manually upgrade PMS saying:

This package is not supported on the platform of Diskstation or is incompatible with the current DSM version.

Upgraded to PlexMediaServer-1.13.4.5251-2e6e8f841-x86 on Synology DSM 6.2-23739 Update 2 today. PLex not able to execute. Doesn’t come up, deleted and re-installed, no solution, and downgrading not possible.

I’m getting this exact problem. I’m trying to upgrade a 32bit PMS to 1.13.4.5271 onto a 32bit Synology (1511+) running 6.1.7-15284u2 and get the incompatible version error message.

I’m not sure what downgrading would do in my instance.

Found it. Seems we need to run the x64 version of Plex even though we’re on a x86 DSM.

It looks like the link shown on PMS is not the right version :confused: i was updating today over the link provied on my PMS page and after the update i wasn’t able to start the server. Then i was downloading it on the Plex.tv website for Synology x64 and everything is ok.
