Because I like plex so much and want to take it to a higher level I decided to invest in a nas.
I got the synology 218+, but now I read that it has transcoding issues even with 1080p.
While a read everywhere that it is the right choice for plex??
do I need to bring it back?
I saw a topic where u can turn on hw transcoding in plex pass. And install the x64 version of plex. Will this realy fix the transcode issue? Or is it better to bring it back?
Yeah I know that from the plex pass. Will do that. I would do it even only to support plex.
