DSM7: app.plex.tv is unable to connect to "MyServer" securely

Server Version#: 1.21.0.3744
Player Version#: app.plex.tv

  • Local access via Server and Plan apps works well.
  • NAS runs a working SSL external cert.
  • Remote access enabled and looking ‘green’. I tried both standard and manual external port with router Port Forwarding enabled.
  • Network settings on PMS have ‘Secure Connections’ as ‘preferred’.
  • Enable server support for IPv6 = true
  • NAS itself can be accessed fine via external DDNS domain
  • https://canyouseeme.org does show success for my ext. IP and both default or manual external port.
