Duel CPU's with Nvidia GPU harware transcoding failes to start

Server Version#:Plex Media Server Version 1.32.1.6999.
Player Version#:Plex 1.68.2
Other Server specifications:
OS: Windows 11 build 22H2
Hardware Specifications: duel socket CPU Intel Xeon E5-2630-V2, GTX 1660 Video Card, 128GB DDR3 RAM, Supermicro motherboard model X9DR7/E-(J)LN4F with onboard Matrox video.
This server runs my plex media server but for whatever reason it does not properly use the Nvidia GPU with the duel CPU’s is this not possible or is this just not supported?
The is the playback Error I get on the client: An unknown error occurred (4294967283)
Error code: 4294967283 also get this playback error An unknown error occurred (4294967279)
Error code: 4294967279.

The transcoding works from the Plex app on android phones but not from the Windows Plex App or web browser in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Im also in exactly the same boat as yourself here. I’ve been trying to get this to work since March.

Hardware transcoding issue

After reading the entire thread it looks like I’m having the same issues as @Ossalingur in post 206. I know the “me too” post doesn’t help so I will try and expand on this. Im trying to get PMS to use the Nvidia Quadro p400 in my system. The system it’s self is a Xeon based server with 2 x E5-2630 v3 CPU’s. I have dual Xeon CPUs, in fact possibly the exact same cpu.
A few people on that thread had the same issue with dual processors. I’ve still not got to the bottom of it.
I’ve tried bare metal installs of Ubuntu, docker and virtualisation, still can’t get plex to hardware transcode with the nvidia gpu for my web client.
I’m more than happy to add logs or test any config

2neon Thanks for the link to the list of trial runs with duel CPU’s. I am also having this same issue with a Windows 11 build. The specifications are a single socket Intel Xeon X5675 with an Nvidia GTX 1660 video card and a Supermicro X8ST3 motherboard with a Matrox G200e Graphics card. Both my duel CPU server and singel CPU have one thing in common the onboard Matrox G200e video card. Even if I disable the onboard video it does not seem to use it when using web encoding and also when usign the plex client on windows. Both my builds are on the same windows 11 version and PMS version and have the same issue. I have no issue playing from android cell phones.
