Hi, I just added my music library to PMS (1.3.4.3285) on Windows.
When I view my collection by artist, many of the artists are using wrong and duplicate cover art images.
Same when I view by album, wrong and duplicate album art.
Looks like a bug?
Do your files have embedded cover art?
Do you have artist pictures in your music folders?
Are your music files properly organised in folders by
Artist / Album ?
How well are your files tagged with embedded metatags?
Your screen shot above indicates that your music library is not finished with updating.
Just let it sit for now.

I’ve spent a large amount of time to order and tag my collection, i.e. each file contains tags that properly describes it.
The directory structure is artist\album\song.
The content is ripped from my CD collection using dBPowerAmp, purchased from HDTracks, from Amazon, and purchased from iTunes.
I normally use JRiver, but I wanted to see if I can get all my media under Plex.
It looked to me like it was done processing, no more spinner on main page, how do I know it is really done?

Then I warmly recommend you to instruct Plex to use them and only use Gracenote to fill in missing stuff.

Albums, especially sampler style albums may work a little bit differently.
Plex really wants to use the AlbumArtist. This needs to be present, at least in albums with several artists.

When no longer these ‘toasts’ on the lower edge of the screen appear, like seen in your first screen shot.
