You have two files of the same movie, however the movie that already exists on the server is using the old version of the movie scanner and the new movie is using the new scanner so the movie IDs do not match so it adds it as a new movie. To avoid this, refresh all your movies using the new scanner or if you know that you have the movie already, manually update the movie using the new scanner first then add the new movie.

If you look at the label below the poster, you’ll notice that one has the year the movie was released (2012) while the other one says 1 Movie. The 1 Movie one is a collection.
Unless you have manually created this, it’s probably automatically created. With the Plex Movie agent, you can configure if you want Plex to automatically create collections and how many items there should be (minimum threshold; e.g. if you want collections but only if you own at least 2 items of that collection).

If you want the collection but avoid this kind of “duplicate” situation, you can also configure your library to hide items which are part of a collection (this way you’ll e.g. only see one “Lord of the Rings” item instead of the 3 feature films)

It collection i believe. You need to disable it under manage on your library. The collection will still work but get rid of the duplicate entry. I really don’t understand why the developers wants duplicate covers. It is very annoying IMHO.

Got me puzzled when Adding Tv Shows to library …… Tv shows are showing but not highlighted Movies and Music load to respective folders no problems but Tv Shows won’t but can add Tv Shows to “Other Videos” category no problems and plays any advice appreciated
Just add the Library folder to your library. Don’t add movies or tv-shows individually as folders to the library.
Individual files will always be greyed out for that particular reason.
If no content is visible, there might be a permission problem.
