Oh and All the other tv libraries I have worked just fine. Cartoons, Anime, Music shows, web shows, etc.
I also had a request though I dunno if it’s possible. If the idea is to help people find duplicates, would it be possible to add the file size to each duplicate that was found?
That was (still is) in the works. I definitely gonna get the memory bug. I already know what it is though didn’t think it would happen so fast but remember I enabled tvshows. Collecting 50,0000 episodes is far easier(and faster) than collecting 50,000 movies, lol… So got to make some fake shows on my plex to bloat my episode count up. Good thing for soap operas and all The Tonight Show’s. That should give me 15,000 or more to play with.
But I’ll see what I can do about the file size in the interim. Maybe I can whip something up this weekend.
Yeah… I’d assume you could just edit the .db file to add some test shows. I thought I read somewhere that it is saved in a standard SQL database. Though I could be wrong. - Something else I noticed. the status bar moves along to various lengths then freezes, as the program becomes unresponsible. - however in Task manager it is still running. - and unless it runs out of memory, it does finish and shows the results.
True that but I don’t want to copy 1.5gb db and I actually want all the bells and whistles for other future features. I thought I was so clever. I was able to create 10’s of thousands of files in a few minutes but forgot the time it takes plex to add…
Yeah that’s my problem. I’ll add something new. Add to scan the library and it takes a half hour to add it. Even when the folder it’s in was tube guest one added to the library. So you’d think it would scan their first. Ha.
For awhile I was using Plex’s duplicate finder which sucked…decided to see if you were able to finish the port and OMG. Thank you! I forgot what I was missing…
