hi, can we have the feature back where it puts a 2 in the corner of the movie icon/poster when there is a duplicate entry (not duplicate). it was really easy to go and find a movie that was labeled incorrectly and i could split the files apart. I’m not sure which version got rid of this, but it was very helpful.
I agree but I think a lot of people have multiple versions of the same movie now. A 4k and a 1080p movie get collapsed into one poster which is technically a duplicate.
A lot of libraries would be overloaded with those markers essentially making them useless to discover actual duplicates that are a mistake
You can filter the library for duplicates in case you didn’t know
Personally, I prefer this method. Everything is in one spot and you don’t have to look around for it
Best practice to put the date in parentheses.
You can also put the IMDB id number in the file name which essentially guarantees an exact match every time.
This is especially helpful for remakes with the same name

A Star Is Born (1976) {imdb-tt0075265}.mp4
A Star Is Born (2018) {imdb-tt1517451}.mp4
I do this for every movie and haven’t had duplicate since I started. I’m not suggesting you do this manually for every movie as a solution. I have a renaming program that does it automatically
