Hello all- I have an issue with my OTA tuner on my Plex server. The local CBS channel, 29.1 (and all subs) show up twice when I do a scan with any of my digital TV’s. According to the searches that I have done, I understand that the station may be transmitting the same channel number on two different frequencies. In order on the channel list, the first channel is blank, while the second channel has the proper signal.
When I do a channel scan with my Plex server, only the first occurrence shows up, which of course is the wrong one. It does not offer me the second occurrence, which is the correct one. The end result is that I am unable to watch or DVR my local CBS station, even though all of my TV’s receive it fine.
Is there any way to force Plex to find the other, duplicate channel? If I can get that far, it would be an easy matter of disabling the first channel.
Has anyone ran into this issue before? If so, is there a fix or workaround?
