Duplicates on TVDB causing problems

Hi,
Im trying to organize all my tv shows. But i have one tv series thats messing up. The show has 6 seasons + one special season. The problem is that on TVDB its listed like this:
Specials
Season 1
Season 2
Season 3
Season 4
Season 5
Season 6
Season 7.

But season 4 and 5 is the same on TVDB for some reason. This causing problems and the Special season doesnt get recognized by Plex either. Now everything in that show is messed up and everthing is wrong except from the first few season.
Is there some way i can fix this? Maybe add episodes manually and rename?

That will have to be fixed on Thetvdb.
Plex can not do anything about the content and how it is organized on thetvdb site.

You will organize specials the same as any other season.
You can call it “Season 00” or “Specials”. Your choice.

I cant edit it on TVDB and the same request i have was made already 2 years ago and nothing has been done.
So there is no way i can manually add episodes to Plex?

Renaming to “Season 00” did help to add the specials, thanks.

If you provide the name of the show in question somebody will likely lay it out for you.

You can manually lay out the show via several methods - any of which start with changing the matching agent to Personal Media so it’ll stop trying to match at TVDB. You can also change the agent to TMDB, if it’s listed correctly there.

See if those are right.

If they are ‘Fix Match’, go to Search Options, change TVDB to TMDB and that should be it - providing your naming and structuring is such that Plex and TMDB can deal with it.

Outstanding.

That option is way easier than manually editing every single episode - as you would have to do if selecting Personal Media <— the very last resort.
