I would like to create optimizations with H.265 encoding and .mkv containers. How do you get this away from creating AVC, Mp4 files?
You cannot currently do that.
IIRC there’s a feature suggestion asking to add this feature. The discussion was mainly benefits of smaller output files vs. the significant increased CPU load compared to optimizing w/ h.264
