DV/HDR10 Compatible Profile 8 files won't play

The rest of my setup is not DV compatible, Im not looking for DV.

But I’ve run across about 6 files now that list DV/HDR10 compatible that do not play. It goes to play screen with a swirly I don’t usually see, sometims 0:04 or 0:05 pops up in the lower progress bar. Then just freezes in place on a black screen.

New player, and old player.

I have rolled up 1 month of Infuse fighting audio sync issues. Infuse plays these just fine.

I know, I keep reading, go with Infuse and stop looking back, but omg, I do actually like the plex UI and I’ve theoretically already payed for in order to have hw transcode for on the go.

Switching
“Auto Adjust Quality” to OFF
And these profile 8 files are playing as they should.

But this brings back judders on video playback.

Choose, ability to play back profile8 files, live with judders.
Or choose steady frame rate.

Same problem here… black screen and progress bar pops up at 0:04 or 0:05

“Auto Adjust Quality” must be set off. Makes no sense. But if that is on, prof8 will not work.
