DVB-S Support (Hardware Advice)

Hi All

There has not been any activity around this topic for a while, I am looking to retire my old Humax FreeSAT box and would like to go straight into my PC/Plex Server.

Has any additional support been added for DVB-S/S2 recently?

Also could anyone recommend the hardware required? I’ve found several out there that seem to use the same connector for FreeSAT but understand its the decoding of the signal that is the issue?

My Server is a full desktop PC running Windows 11, so either a PCI-E or USB card would work.

There is no support for satellite TV in Plex.
And unfortunately it doesn’t look like it will gain support for that anytime soon.
