yea I suppose I shouldn’t totally rule out a Gen7 Intel, though I’d be going with a xeon-based system for the ECC. Having Quicksync could be a boon since remote streams will often transcode on my setup.
there are few xeons that support igpu/quicksync, and fewer boards that support xeon with igpu.
so, if ECC is required, as far as I know, that is gonna mean you need an nvidia gpu.
in which case, there is probably not much difference between going amd/intel.
