DVR always Plex Pass only?

Is this a feature that’s going to permanently be Plex Pass-only or just until it’s out of “beta”?

I would imagine it will be one of the Plex Pass selling points.

The DVR is in a horrible state at the moment. They are more or less forcing users to use a build from 5 months ago (1.6.1) to use it properly. I would hold off until they fix all the issues.

Since Plex is licensing EPG data from Gracenote at a cost, DVR won’t be free for the foreseeable future.
