following the upgrade of my Synology NAS from v 6.x to 7.x Plex DVR does not seem to be able to write to the share on Windows 10. I can play any movie already recorded, and i can start immediately or schedule any recording and they all show as running in the ‘activity’ button on the dashboard but they all fail with one error or another, including “cannot record airing in the past” , “Destination library does not exist” , or “transcoder error” , or “Recording failed, Please check your tuner or antenna” (this while I’m watcing the live feed for the same channel on the Hauppauge client…)
I’ve been using a NAS drive successfully for months with a dedicated static IP address.
I’ve checked all the permissions on the NAS side for the SMB Windows share and I can read/write them all fine from the Windows share so I’m at a loss. Please advise.
