I have been having this same problem. My EPG goes nuts at 7PM CT for one hour. So anything from 7-8PM CT I cannot record. Once 8PM happens, everything is fine again.
I am currently on Version 1.12.1.4885.
Before the show at 7PM, it shows up as on the recording schedule.
Maintenance is scheduled to start at 2AM.

Downloading… I will follow more closely tomorrow night. Currently I have a show scheduled to record.

And the manual EPG refresh now that you are on 1.12.3.4947
A problem has just been found which results in lost airings which would lead to lost scheduled recordings
The issue arises when in Day Light Savings time
Airings at midnight GMT will disappear for the current day. Add your offset from GMT and see if that would explain the lost recordings issue you have been having

I have Big Bang Theory set to record new episodes. It is at the top of my recording priority. The DVR has failed to record the last 2 weeks even though it was listed on my recording schedule. Now that the show has passed, it is not even showing on my recording schedule. If it were, maybe I could at least find out what went wrong and why it didn’t record. Please advise.
Suggest we investigate this with the new beta that came out earlier today - version 1.12.3. It has changes for EPG refresh
Please get screenshots to show that the recordings are scheduled to happen and then as we come up close to the time of the recordings. collect the server logs and also during the time of the shows and at the end
Also take screenshots of the schedule to confirm still showing or dropped off

I have a similar issues as above, where I didn’t have a couple shows record. Earlier in the week it would show on the schedule, then it would not record at all. Odd part is other shows will record. I am having issues with Big Bang and MacGyver. I’m in the US, not sure what I should do next. I have used the channels feature to watch shows, but would rather have DVR.
I need more logs with debug logging to see if there is a common issue here. So please ensure debug logging is enabled on the server (settings / server / general / show advanced ) - restart server to get fresh logs created. When you have programs scheduled to record but they do not, capture the logs zip (settings / server / help / download logs) an£ attach here with details of what the programs were, times scheduled to record and channel
I have the logs and Debug had been enabled on my plex server. The 2 shows were on Thursday at 8pm(Big Bang Theory) ET and Friday at 8pm ET (I think)(MacGyver) both on CBS. I can keep an eye out and send you this weeks as well. I attached a screenshot of this weeks recordings. I’ll send logs again if they go away, but it does this then shows go away and won’t show up on recording schedule. Please let me know what else you need and how I can help. Thanks.
The lost recordings were Thursday and Friday. The logs cover Monday from 08:44 to 09:59 - so not much time covered and during this period, there was an EPG Refresh which only reached 47% at 09:58
We need to capture the logs during the expected recording and after. Suggest same approach as I indicated for @nklemons
To increase log files on windows, use Regedit
Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server
and right click on Plex Media Server and select New → REG_DWORD (32-bit) and create item and name it LogNumFiles and give it a value of, say 40 decimal
Exit RegEdit
You can delete this LogNumFiles at the end of all the investigations to get back to the default
You could also see if changing the selection to record all and not just new makes a difference. I have come across EPG data where the New indicator was wrong
Thanks for the info, I updated Plex to the latest and I did the Regedit you suggested above. Currently it shows the shows as on recording for this week. I will keep an eye on it and send logs as soon as things change. Let me know what else you need. Thanks.
Ok, it had the change and dropped Big Bang on CBS. I’m attaching a copy of the logs yesterday when it showed it and today when it isn’t. Also screen shots of before and after. Let me know if you need anything else.

Your server time is GMT-4:00 and with the problem that has just been identified, that would explain why airings between 20:00 and 21:00 would get lost
