Plex is running very well for me with HD Home Run on UK Freeview OTA. The new grid guide is a great feature. The only issue I have is the channel order is a bit weird. I would like to be able to rearrange the channels. Is there any way to change the display order of channels for the guide? I have checked everywhere, re-scanned channels and done all I can think of and cannot find an easy way to do this. Sorry if it has been asked (and solved) before but my searches could not find it.
+1 from me too. I’m also an HDHomerun user and would love the ability to sort my channels to get the HD channels into the appropriate places and do a few other tweaks such as grouping the movie channels next to each other.
Thanks though Plex for getting the grid guide out at all, - so much better than the native HDHomerun guide. You tormented me by accidentally releasing the grid guide on the nVidia Shield when it was supposed to be only beta so now it is gone from my Shield but as soon as it comes back as an official release I’ll definitely be signing up for a lifetime Plex pass.
I think what is painfully missing and should be there by default is the following:
Sort By Channel Name (A-Z)
Sort by Channel Number (as it come from the provider).
Ability to create Individual Favorite Channel List (per Home user).
Also missing:
Since there is no official support in Hungary, I am using an XMLTV source for my Digital Cable (Digi TV) channels. There are several channels where my XMLTV source is not providing EPG. I don’t understand the reason why I can’t add a channel without EPG. I unerstand that the scheduled recording would not work without EPG, but manual recording and Live TV should…
It is also a problem that I cannot map the same EPG entry to multiple channels… Why? For eg, there are a lot of channels which provided by my Cable Provider in both SD and HD format. Obviously the EPG is the same for both, but I can’t associate the same EPG entry for both.
