DVR Live TV Guide Question

I have been using the DVR beta since its release and my major viewing Platform in a Roku 3 here in the UK, i love the DVR functionality and have been using the web app to schedule recordings.
The Beta DVR guide is good for this and i enjoy using it, but when it comes to liveTV using my other set of tuners
(i own two HD Homerun’s with separate IP addresses so i can separate them for Plex and Emby and HDHR Viewer)

On my Roku using Emby i have this as a TV guide

And using the HDHR Viewer Plugin on the Roku Plex app i have this.

As you can see they are great for when i just want to browse for something to watch live on my Roku, will there ever be a decent guide on the roku for Plex or will we only ever have the stand guide "One right now, Starting soon, New episodes tonight etc etc) Poster version that does not show channel

I am almost certain theirs look like that for the same reason the HDHR View app look the way it does. Why don’t you get a full guide from SD? I won’t spoil it for you. Go find out why :slight_smile:

Anyone can grab the feed from the tuner and present it through their apps. That doesn’t mean SD has anything to do with it or approves of it. When legal actions are being taken they won’t be calling SD. They would go directly to the app owner. Lastly, “SD’s focus has never been the visual presentation”? That’s such none sense and you know it. It takes more work to reinvent the wheel. Why would they go such great length to design their app that way when they could easily do what everyone else has been doing for the longest. Clearly, there is an actual reason. You just don’t wish to accept it.
