DVR Mark Episodes For ReRecord

Sometimes (especially during NFL season) episodes are preempted or the reception is disrupted and an episode is nigh unwatchable. If possible it would be useful to have an option that marks a specific program to be rerecorded the next time it appears on schedule.

No specific request for location in UI. As long as it exists that’s all I need.

There’s already 2 feature suggestions addressing this:

  1. DVR - The ability to record episodes already in the library → record multiple instances of the same episode (e.g. in case of bad guide data or corrupted/bad recordings)
  2. Delete with the option to re-record

I suggest you comment/vote in those threads to avoid distracting/dispersing votes.

Thanks and don’t worry. The suggestions have gone a bit overboard in the last years, to it’s not always easy to identify if there’s similar suggestions (or some addressing the exact same scope). Closing those duplicates is not meant to discourage further suggestions :smiley:
