Loving the DVR so far. One missing feature is the ability to delete a recording with the option to re-record the show. This is helpful when the show listing was incorrect (causing the wrong show to be recorded) or there was an issue with the recording (it is a beta recording solution).
I posted a request in this area (which was a little bit different to above) but the moderator closed it as a duplicate without understanding the difference - so will try to explain again, in this thread!
Rather than deleting a bad recording with the option for it to re-record (which it would do anyway once an episode has been deleted!), what I was suggesting is that you can keep the bad recording (rather than just delete it completely) but set a flag that it would get re-recorded whenever there is a re-run. The recording may just be cut short by a few minutes, or a bit pixelated in places, so usable, but of course, if there is a re-run, we would want to replace with a better copy for future viewing.

I had an episode with borked audio. Changed the episode number from 03 to 033 (season only had 10 episodes). Kept the ‘borked’ episode but Plex automatically re-recorded when available. I have all my recordings set to “New and Repeat Airings” rather than “New Airings Only”
