Is there a better way to try to alert you guys of issues? It’s been taking 3-4 days for you guys to look in the forums and notice the EPG has been broke. Thanks for fixing it again.
deleted the database a couple of times and then kept refreshing about 10 times and it finally finished with a complete epg
Issue appears to be fixed for me.

not sure if you use them but twitter https://twitter.com/plex or facebook is an option Plex Pro | Campbell CA . since they are single threaded streams less chance it might get missed

How did you delete the database? I still am experiencing the EPG issue.
Having the same issue. Started happening last update - running 1.5.5.3634. The EPG update finishes, starts a database optimization, but the Program Guide is still empty after it completes

If you are using windows there’s a folder that should look something like this C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\
Stop the Plex service and then Delete all the tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect-* files
If you delete the database that will delete all your shows records right?

@BigWheel This seems to be the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened in as many weeks. Any idea what’s causing these issues?
Fixed for me overnight.
@“PlexCloud.net” No. Mine were fine after I managed to get the guide updated.
Looks like mine is working now after updating the EPG again today.
Still not showing any recordings after 5/6…
Have you rebooted the machine? My EPG wouldn’t update last night until I rebooted.
I tried quitting and restarting Plex Media Server - I can try rebooting the machine, but I’m not optimistic…
The reboot didn’t work. On a lark, I found the EPG DB and deleted that - it’s now updating and I’m getting recording past 5/6. Is it possible that a previous EPG update messed up the DB?
Seems to be back for me after a reboot and EPG refresh
Deleting database, restarting plex and refreshing seems to be the fix. thanks guys
