Plex DVR - EPG not loading into Program Guide

I have Version 1.6.1.3722 installed and an HDHomeRun Extend, which Plex does detect in the DVR settings. The Program Guide is empty and when I refresh the EPG it appears to download the data but at the end of the process there still isn’t a Program Guide and my recordings don’t download.

The Program Guide has been an issue for the past week and a half and prior to that loaded correctly.

Would love any tips, while there wouldn’t be any obvious changes I’m hoping there is some setting that I can tinker with.

I’m having the same issue to the letter. The EPG was working fine, now it’s not, causing Plex not to record my shows. The timeline is about the same as well, it started about 1-2 weeks ago.

Update: I deleted my DVR in Plex and then re-added it and my guide is now working again!

Oh and my scheduled recordings are still intact, I didn’t have to set them up again.

I just had the same problem. Followed your instructions by deleting my DVR and re-adding. It is working now.

I found if it wasn’t updating, then I quit Plex and try again it would work. Not a fix, but it has been a workaround for me…

Same issue, which is an old issue…what’s going on Plex?

Same here. I could make it download them through the DVR Plugin but it wouldn’t update the guide and, consequently, the recording schedule.

I shut down Plex Server

restarted and downloaded again. It took 40 minutes, but it did work.

Again. After two weeks of no epg, Sunday it finally downloaded it, but only 24h worth. No show past Monday evening. Refreshes since then haven’t pulled down anything, no matter how many restarts. C’mon Plex folks… This one issue is killing the entire work you folks out into DVR support.

Can you get us some logs from when it says the EPG is complete after a refresh, please? :slight_smile:

To make sure I give you the right file, which log do you care about? Media server, media scanner, tuner service, something else?

Just download them from help under server settings, and upload them. :slight_smile:

Well… mine does all the 100%, but none of them show up on EPG. Program guide sill says that I should try to refresh the EPG. Reinstalled DVR several times, scanned several times, and changed EPG sources several times. No luck. Any suggestions?

@raduma Apologies for not having seen this earlier. Are you still seeing that issue, or is this resolved for you now?

Got fustrated and left it be. It was fixed after first update. Only the dailight savings issiue remains.
