The situation I’m running into I’ve run into similar products. What I’m trying to do is keep on hand… 3 or 5 episodes of a show to watch for my 2 and 4 year old children. On channels like PBS, i have access to their “app”, but they only have 4 episodes on hand at any one time, and they don’t rotate them out very often. If I just keep a constant recording going on PBS, I’ll always have 3 to 5 episodes that we haven’t seen in a while. So I have it configured to record let’s say Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, keep 3 (or 5) and once played delete it to make room for another episode to be recorded. What’s ended up happening is over time, we’ve recorded and watched all of the episodes. And when that happens it sets the episode to “watched”. Where that becomes a problem is now when it records… it goes back and deletes the episode before we’ve had time to watch it. Is there a way to set the entire series to “unwatched” even though I don’t have the material on my drive anymore? Better yet, is it possible to set the recording to tag as “unwatched” when it records again?
