DVR recording - force recording to start late (12:00 -> 12:05)

Just wondering; Is it possible to manually force DVR recording to start 5 minutes late? Like program start at 12:00 → recording starts at 12:05?

In my country there’s soooo many commercials between time slots and I’d rather just skip everything by forcing recording to start late.

I found an article about setting up ‘minutes before start’ with a negative digit like ‘-5’, but that doesn’t work anymore in GUI at least? Any ideas if this could be forced into global settings somehow?

I did get it to work recently by using a negative ‘minutes before start’ but I couldn’t enter it directly into the text field, I needed to to type it into a text editor and then copy and paste it into the field.

Oddly, it didn’t affect how the scheduled recording showed in DVR Schedule and it still showed that it would start at the normal time (presumably the display logic can’t handle negative values) but it actually recorded late as I wanted.

Edit: Also just noticed that the Android app actually starts showing the recording indicator at the normal time, although it hasn’t actually started recording.
