I just setup Plex DVR with HD Homerun Extend, setup my program guide and set my first show to record specifying my TV folder as the destination. The show did not record even though the recording priority and schedule is set correctly, showing the next future episodes set to record. What’s the issue here? There is enough space on the server HDD so I know that’s not the issue.
Check the Plex Media Server log to see what it says for the recording. Really can’t offer any suggestions with the only details being I set a recording and it didn’t record.
Sorry about the lack of info, I’m just getting started with this. It looks like I resolved it by moving my destination folder to the C drive instead of my backup drive. I’m not sure why that would cause the recording to fail but I this evenings recording was successful once I did that.
Glad you got it resolved. If your backup drive is an external drive there might be a slight delay in accessing the drive that perhaps Plex does not like. I know when I go to view a WD External Drive I have at work it seems to take a second or two to display anything in Windows File Explorer.
