DVR recording issue "there was a transcoder error"

Hi All,
every program set to record via my PMS DVR scheduled recording fails and I get a message for the show I wanted to record stating “there was a transcoder error” .I don’t have a large EPG selection, only 21 channels. I’ve recently updated win 7 to win 10 but that’s about all I can think of that could be contributing to it. the transcoder HDD location has a heap of HDD space. PMS is running the latest version 1.12.2.4929.
any one else having similar issues.

I am having the same issue with my setup. I am running an HDHomeRun Prime with a WD MyCloud PR4100

I see this too on my synology nas drive, but not always

I too had this same issue. Granted I am new to Plex Media Server and am working to figure things out.
On the transcoder error, my particukar issue was resolved after following the instructions in this posting:
