Love the app! You guys are amazing!
I have some ideas for new features, hopefully you will give them consideration. I’m currently using the DVR feature, which I know is in beta. I haven’t seen a feature roadmap so maybe you’ve already planned on some of these. Here’s hoping!
- I’d love the ability to watch a show while it records, currently I do not have the ability to start a show while it’s being recorded. I have to wait until it’s done or use the second tuner. I like to let a show record for about half an hour then jump in and skip the commercials, with the current setup this is apparently not possible.
- I think it makes sense for the program guide to be sorted by channel. At present there is no way to see whats on a given local channel. Though some may not agree, I’d love to be able to see whats on FOX alone vs the entire line up of whats on.
- The ability to pause and rewind live broadcasts. This is basic DVR functionality and I’m sure you’re working this one.
- When searching, I think it makes sense for the search to be global by default instead of having to choose global. Let me see all my options first, then narrow it down. This one might be just me though.
Again, love the app and thank you guys so much for doing what you’re doing. If it weren’t for you, I’d still be paying a fortune for cable!!!
