DVR Setup instant fail without any errors

I Want to setup Live TV & DVR on my Plex Server:

I go to Settings > Live TV & DVR > Setup Plex DVR > Select the shown Tuner > Then comes nothing else than: " There was an unexpected error. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems. Go to Forums"

The Error in Log doesn’t tell me anything i can find to do


“Grabber: timeout waiting for Plex Tuner Service to finish starting.”
It’s about the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex Tuner Service.exe” File.
But I can’t figure out, whats the Problem.

So I tested the same on my Windows 10 PC with an test installation of the current Plex Media Server and it works instantly without any error.

But what is the Difference between Windows 10 Plex Media Server and WindowsServer2016?
Because it’s the same installation!

I had an issue some time ago with my Server. There I had to trop an dll File manualy into the Windows Folder of the OS to solve a Problem with transcoding H265 content. Maybe this is a similar problem here.
