DVR stuttering

I have the HDHR Extend with up to date firmware. Eversince DVR went with .ts for the container. I’ve had nothing but massive stuttering (frame rearranging) with OTA. I figured it was in beta and would get better, but it didnt. I then signed up for the HDHR Premium TV. Using their app the channels all look great, both live and streamed. Plex DVR on the other hand is unwatchable, either live or recorded.

I’m seeing the same thing on Mac OS X 10.13.4. Same HDHR hardware. It has been so annoying. Is there a way to revert back to when .ts wasn’t being used for the container?
