Hi I noticed on my 4k file, original quality stream, there’s a transcode happening. Not sure why this is happening. I’ve attached screenshots of the settings/transcode reason. Can anyone explain?
Someone with Plex told me before that the Shield does not support EAC3, even though I had other files with the codec that played fine. Also I’m pretty sure content on Amazon Prime the last few years has used it, too.
I ended up just turning on HDMI pass-through and letting my TV handle it to stop the transcoding of the specific file I was having the issue with.
