It would be nice if Plex identified movies in a series, and either had a special browsing section for series, or showed “Related Movies” in the movie view (or context menu?).
Right now all we can do is make tons of collections — which then makes it hard to find other types of collections like themes or categories, or adjust the Sort Title of a movie — which potentially messed up the order of your movies in the “All Movie” listing (and other listings) so when you look for “Live and Let Die” in the 'L’s you can’t find it because you’ve sorted it as “Bond 08 - Live and Let Die”. Having a separate browse view for movie series would help a lot in this case.
Additionally, sorting the series by chronological order would be really nice. You may be able to do it by release date, but then a movie series like Star Wars would be wrong (as the pre-quels were release after the original series). This could be a general preference, where movies are sorted by release date unless there is chronological data, but multiple sort metrics can get confusing when browsing.
Finally, I think it would be good (at least in the Plex Media Server) to see what movies you are missing from a series. For example with James Bond, maybe you have all the James bond movies except “Thunderball”, it would be pretty hard to tell that you are missing that one unless you specifically looked up a list of James Bond movies and searched for each one individually in the Plex library. This feature could make the Plex Client kind of messy, but might be a good feature for Plex Media Server as the place where you are managing your collection.
