I know this has already been asked several times, and arguments (invalid in my opinion) have been given against this idea. However, if this post could ever be read and noticed, it might not be useless.
Here is my use of Plex at home: My son watches anime on his phone, meanwhile, my wife watches her favorite series on her IPAD. And I work quietly while listening to Plex Amp on my phne. The number of times one or the other requests a “Plex for comics” or a “Plex to read a book” and I have no simple way to offer them to access the e-books on my NAS is huge.
I insist very strongly: yes Plex for ebook is totally useless for those who use it on their TV. But for us, 90% of Plex usage is done on a tablet or phone, and we are big fans of manga, comics and books… And this feature would be extremely appreciated in the family.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
Therefore this one is closed, to prevent spreading the votes across several threads, even though they vote for the same (or at least very similar thing).
