I’ve never updated plex on the shield before will it not update automatically.
The first time you have to login to google play store and install it from your account. Nvidia ships the Sheild with a preinstalled version, that is probably more than one year old at this point. Would almost in my opinion be better to ship without PMS installed and have users always install from google play. Once you have it installed from your google play account it should update.

It worked updated plex on my shield and now its back to normal and even plays some files it wouldn’t before Top Man Johnm_colaSC give yourself three gold stars.
Should I try to reinstall the Plex server app on my Mac as well?
Not sure why this happened all of a sudden
Downloaded the newest Plex Server from the website and it’s now back up and running.
For some reason the “check for updates” didn’t work from the web interface anymore.
