So all my Stevie Nicks albums/songs suddenly have the artist name “Yes” and all my Fleetwood Mac albums/songs have the artist Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mack. If I change songs or Albums they revert back within seconds.

That sounds rather mysterious…
Could be some bad timing with auto-updates of your metadata and your manual changes not being locked.
Could be an issue where Plex fails to “write” your changes and therefore falls back to the previous values.
Any related errors showing in your server logs from around the time when this happened?

That looks like a snippet of your server logs from a library scan, not necessarily from manually editing an artist’s metadata?! The only obvious error in that snippet is a badly formatted timestamp in the embedded metadata of 1 of your mp3 files (though that seems unrelated as it’s from a different activity).
So I’m not all that good with this stuff, I’m not sure which log I should be posting - what whould the name be?
Probably too obvious, and possibly not the reason.
I had Wednesday the same thing. I changed the artist name in the album and the title reverted back after seconds. Then I realized I changed the artist name in the album instead instead one level up: in the artist.
Unfortunately, I am changing it in Artist, but thank you for chiming in
I fixed the issue by moving all the file out of the music folder, refreshing the library, then moving everything back in.
