Plex Metadata keeps altering an artists name even though it’s correct before it was scanned to the library. And every time i correct it in the Web Player/Server it automatically refreshes the metadata and puts it back to the one Plex assumes is correct. Any suggestions?
Lock the field
I can’t lock the Artist Name field or else that would have been my first choice
You should be able to lock it a the track level.
I’ve recently had to rebuild my entire library as I had an issue with my server. However if this is still an issue, I will try your suggestion. Thanks for letting me know.
