Just enquiring whether or not its possible to edit the metadata (in the case of mismatched titles or missing metadata altogether) through the Android Plex app? My server is on a dedicated PC and isnt terriblely easy to get to so I’ve been using a Chrome Remote Desktop to correct the titles when it misidentified by the server and it’d easier than if I needed to remember what my server’s IP address to remotely sign in using the web browsers on a tablet or phone. It would save a lot of time and the headache it causes when I have to explain how the Webui works so the information can be changed to the correct title. Ideally, it would be done through the Android/iPhone apps, considering handheld devices are essentially remotes for viewing/deleting the sever’s content. I’d appreciate any help you’d be able to provide on the matter
No. Only Plex Web has the ability to manage PMS. You don’t need to use Remote Desktop. Just load up Plex Web on any computer you have, or even on the browser in Android. It just needs to be Plex Web, doesn’t matter which device it runs on.
The second, white, plex logo goes directly to the web app but does not open Chrome. Problem is, I can’t remember how I got it.
On the iPhone if you choose to bookmark the site to the Home screen it will show the white logo.
