This kind of price increase is a giant middle finger to the customers who use your product and it has never worked out well for any company. If anything it makes me wonder about their long term viability.

My personal opinion is that Plex should have just stopped offering new Lifetime Pass subscriptions (after a cut-off date). There are ongoing development costs and, with the previous/current pricing, folks with a Lifetime Pass were no longer contributing to that after anywhere from 1.5-6 years (depe…

Honestly at $750, I doubt they’re going to get very many new Lifetime Pass subs. In today’s economy that’s a pretty high hurdle for a lot of people.
