It’s because they started using Gracenote as a primary source for covers. While I might recognize them as a good source of music metadata (they are CDDB after all…), I’m not familiar with them as an authority for anything else. People here pointed out that if they went to the dialog for picking a poster image, the correct official ones were there, they just weren’t listed as the first one.
