I have a decent sized library that I have happily been using for years with posters, titles, years and accurate sort titles embedded in the files. The files are formatted as suggested and titled with the IMDB reference for accurate matching:
Batman Begins (2005) {imdb-tt0372784}
When adding files to a Film library using the new Plex Movie agent any metadata embedded in the file is ignored and not pulled through although the files match with metadata from IMDB through the attached reference in the filename. I find this frustrating as I have spent a lot of time embedded sort titles into these files so they display in the library in the correct order. Despite having Use Local Assets and Prefer Local Metadata ticked, the only metadata used is from the online source. I would very much like my library to contain this metadata from IMDB but be in the sort order that I have specified in the embedded tags. Am I missing something? I am using server version Version 1.21.3.4046 on Windows 10. At this stage I am more likely to go without the enhanced content from the Plex Movie agent and stick with another agent which at least provides my content in the correct order albeit without the additional content from IMDB
