Embedded PMP not full screen

I installed PMP embedded on my htpc machine (it’s a i5 laptop that previously had OpenElec on it running KODI) and I’m having a strange issue. It appears that it is only running at like 720p, it is not full screen. It’s flush with the top left of my tv, but there’s a black border on the right/bottom of the UI and movies. When I play a movie, the information shows that it’s a 1080p movie but it’s not full screen. How can I get it to run full screen?
When I boot the machine, the bios and POST are properly full screen, but when PMP loads it is not. When I tell PMP to reboot or shutdown, I see the cli output, but it too is not full screen. To add to this, the installer ran find in full screen, all 3 times I’ve done a clean install.
EDIT: Here’s what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/BocRqWB.jpg

It seems that it’s an issue with the laptop screen having a resolution of 1366x768 which it then pushes out via hdmi. With OpenElec, I was able to change the display adapter to only use HDMI and ignore the laptop screen, I can’t find any way to make any real changes with PMP. Where can I set the resolution? I can ssh into it and edit from there, but not sure where I need to make changes and what those changes need to be.

Currently there’s no UI for this, and you will need to use xrandr, or create a custom xorg.conf to make it permanent.

I’ve shelved the laptop for now and just put an old sff desktop in it’s place which doesn’t suffer the same issue.

Create an autostart.sh file at /storage/.config with this

xrandr --output HDMI1 --primary

then reboot.
