Recently, PLEX Server was given a feature that automatically deletes program folders when they become empty. While that is great, it really takes too much control and causes me issues as a Windows Media Center user.
I have batch files that move certain recorded *.wtv programs from the RecordedTV folder into their own program subfolders so PLEX can index them. This allows me to access them via PLEX apps.
HOWEVER, If I delete the last episode in the folder via PLEX, it deletes the RecordedTV subfolder and the next time my batch file runs… it fails.
Could you please add a “checkbox” feature that allows users to decide if I want the folders deleted? It could be set to “YES” when rolled out so nothing would change for your user base. But users, such as myself, could go back and uncheck the option for as long as we continue to need this functionality.
FEATURE REQUEST:
Add option to “Library” Settings, under “Allow media deletion”
[ X ] Delete program folders when last episode is deleted
Thank you for your time.
