Hi there is a case about this error but it seems its not repaired yet ! When i select a french track on my roku tv 55 inch the english track play… and i can’t play the french version except on my computer directly in the browser. All my server and tv app are up to date !
Some french movie are working fine but i think the codec doesnt work on some french version :
Update Its every video encoded in AC3 5.1 if i listen the french track, the english one play on my Roku TV Hisense 55R6107 all my other devices are working fine and play the french AC3 version !
Make sure you have not set “Direct Play” to forced in the Plex for Roku settings. That should be set to Auto.
If that doesn’t correct the issue, try forcing a transcode to see if that corrects the issue. If that works, it may be a metadata issue with the languages defined in the file.
It would also help troubleshoot here to provide the XML Info of an affected file, as well as providing a sample.
