I was very excited to to try out the latest changes for the played percentage changes in 1.30.1 build announced here.
I tried it out, but I think this would be much better as an ability to configure the played percentage on a per-library basis. The reason is the global configuration solution doesn’t work well if you have both longer videos and shorter videos on the same server. The default 90% value works great for libraries with longer videos. However, it falls short with libraries with very short videos (3-4 minutes) for some reason. Even after finishing a short video, I find that sometimes it says it wasn’t completed, so I’d like to tune only those libraries down to a lower played percentage value to fix this issue.
I saw that the original request was closed, so I’m opening this request to be an enhancement to the solution to provide per-library configuration to override the global setting that was recently implemented.
