Enhanced Guide with XMLTV (xTeVe)

I’m using xTeVe to import my ChannelsDVR TVE channels into Plex. Everything is working perfectly, but I noticed a variance when using the Enhanced Guide. I read a forum post that after version 1.18.xxxx the enhanced guide is for XMLTV users.

Below is the XMLTV entry for Jeopardy tonight at 7:30pm on NBC:

When I turn off the enhanced guide, the Plex guide reverts back to what was provided in the XMLTV:

Can anyone give me the pros/cons of using the enhanced guide? I’m inclined to NOT use it based on what happened above, but want to make an informed decision on what else I might be giving up/turning off.

I can only recommend ( from personal experience with XMLTV and Enhanced Guide) that the little extra you gain with Enhanced Guide when it works is not worth it.

You get misses like the one you spotted , very, very often - especially if you watch anything but prime time US based live TV.
