Cannot enable "Enhanced Guide"

So when I try to enable “Enhanced Guide” to get better information for the EPG on my DVR setup, the plex webpage responds with a “There was a problem saving changes”.

The logs don’t really offer up anything apart from the following 3 lines of logging:

Any ideas as to what “comskipMethod preference not found” means?

I don’t have an answer but I wanted to watch this thread for future responses

I’m seeing the same log entries when I try to simply change the guide refresh time. I’ve looked through the documentation and it looks like Commercial Skipping is for Plex Pass users, which is fine, except I have no intention of trying to turn that feature on or off; I just want to be able to increase the refresh time of my guide.
