I have a HDHomeRun which I use in combination with an IPTV provider - I merge the two together using Channels DVR and import that into Plex with a XMLTV guide provided by Channels.
The issue I’m having is that some of my shows do not have great EPG data - so things like posters, categories and previous air dates might be missing.
From what I’ve read ‘Enhanced Guide’ under DVR settings is supposed meld the EPG data with TMDB data. However other than DVR scans taking longer I cannot honestly say that the enhanced guide option is doing anything as my shows still lack posters, categories and previous air dates.
Is there a trick to getting it working?
