Direct play and transcode on files with ASS subtitles that have a scrolling motion crashes the app.
Using the AVplayer works out to be good.
Crash is only exhibited on mpv for both iOS and tvOS.
I can probably look for more examples because I’m sure I’ve run into the issue before. But the series listed above is 5 episodes deep and it happens on every single one.
Seems to be ok on android based devices when using exoplayer and on iOS/tvOS when using the native AVplayer.
The exact scene it’s crashing the whole app on is the episode intro fade in card
